Star Wallowing Bull was born in Minneapolis in 1973 and currently lives and works in Moorhead, MN. He has been awarded the 2010 Bush Artist Fellowship and in 2001 the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian Native Artist Fellowship. Wallowing Bull’s art has been exhibited at Carl Nelson Gorman Museum at the University of California, Davis; Plains Art Museum, Fargo, ND; Minneapolis American Indian Center; Weisman Art Museum, Minneapolis, MN. His work is in the collections of The Tweed Museum of Art, Duluth, MN; Weisman Art Museum, Minneapolis, MN; The Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, Washington DC; and The British Museum of Art, London, England.
