George Morrison: Traversal

11.12–12.31.2022

Borrowing its title from a 1958 painting, the exhibition traverses George Morrison’s works across time, style, and media. Inclusive of varying sizes of painting, drawing, prints, and sculpture, Traversal spans from Morrison’s first years in New York with the Arts Students League and emergent Abstract Expressionists to his Minnesota homecoming and views of the horizon of, and beyond, Lake Superior.
